  1. Busy week...got some corals from @Kim Rosenqvistand @MichaelE absolutely brilliant and nice corals They are doing well except one that died overnight Rented a PAR meter and adjusted the intensity of Radions to 70% to have overall 300 PAR in most of the tank frag tank needed only 55% New fish in quarantine...waited 3 weeks for a yellow tang from another reefer but that didn't happen so today I start the copper treatment for the residents of Quarantine 1: Magnificent foxface, Convict tang and a midas belenny Quarantine 2: another midas belenny, 7 lyretail anthias and a small yellow tang from Masterfisch.

  6. New coral quarantine/frag tank came yesterday from Akvarielagret It is filling up with water from my display tank via auto water change system. The lights are on their way from Whitecorals...
  7. Yes they can, if the parasite is in its tomont stage, nothing can kill it, not even copper...it might be attach to any hard surface such as coral plugg or skeleton or even an snail shell. low probability but still can happen.

  9. Thanks. Yes, I use Ozon in my display via skimmer. I have 50mg ozon generator and I have it on 30% turning it on 8 hours a day if ORP is less than 350 monitoring by Apex
  10. New fish in quarantine
  11. Thanks. Yes I do run a double cone bubble king 200 DC
  12. Here are some photos
  13. Yes Sir. Tank is up and running. All is good, I had a bit of brown stuff on the rock but my fantastic lawnmower blenny did take care of it, so basically I experienced no to very little ugly stages as of today. I am still dosing MB7 weekly just to be safe. I also add Ozone generator and since then water is crystal clear. few more fish out of quarantine and in the tank 2 nights ago: Ctenochaetus flavicauda Labroides dimidiatus (I bought these 2 along with Acanthurus Guttatus and Acanthurus leucosternon from Företagsakvarium. Unfortunately UPS was late 2 days with shipping and the two acanthurus didn't make it.) Replaced the Acanthurus leucosternon along with 10 Blue-Green Chromis and a Bicolor blenny from Zoo.se All of them are in main display as of two nights ago and no major fight with the existing tang gang... I still have a Ctenochaetus tominiensis in another quarantine tank and soon I hope I will have more fish from Aquariatech to fill the empty quarantine systems I was busy cleaning and refill them up yesterday I am retiring two of the small quarantine tanks on top of my saltwater mixing station to replace it with a big 250 liter shallow aquarium (under construction by Akvarielagret). this will allow me to quarantine corals very soon. I am going to have exact same lights on top of it as my display tank to help the acclimation process much easier. Pictures will come soon.

  16. Hi I also have a TUNZE 6125 brand new in the box.
  17. sorry to hear. did you catch all the dead fish out of the water? a test on ammonia and a quick check on the PH would be good.
  18. they are expensive. I believe they were designed and sold to aquarium shops, public aquariums,... recently available for purchase for rich hobbyist I think a full Hanna set will be more accurate and cheaper to run.
  19. I can take the Sixline wrasse... any picture on the Goby? Also interested in the skimmer if you decided to sell separately.
  20. That's correct. Invertebrates and Corals can't handle copper. They need to be quarantine in a tank without any medication and copper WITHOUT any fish for 76 days minimum. Ich and velvet will die if they can't find a fish to feed on for 76 days. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  21. Its best to match the copper level in the new water before waterchange. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  22. Every week at the beginning and later on every other week. I also dose live bacteria if I see ammonia. Its not a bad idea to seed some bio balls in your sump and replace in the filter when you want to start the quarantine tank. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  23. Hi What I do is mostly from Humble.fish Medicine are a bit pricy since you have to pay shipping and VAT but if few people join in those prices we can divide. You absolutely don't want UV in your quarantine. Skimmer is okay but not needed. My quarantine tanks have: Hang on back filter field with plastic bio balls. Sponge filter connected to air pump Heather (26-28 degrees) Small Tunze pump Egg crate or some other kind of cover PVC pipes for fish to hide Seachem ammonia badge Thermometer For ammonia control I do 25% to 50% water change (with same amount of copper if I am in copper treatment period) and I dose Seachem Prime. Medication I have: Copper (copper power and Hanna copper cheker) API General Cure API Metroplex API focus for binding the medication to food Right now all 3 quarantine tanks I have are empty and I have no more money for new fish [emoji31] so if anyone wants me to quarantine couple of fish I am available for a negotiable price [emoji6][emoji108] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
