Om det luktar illa inne i filtret så kör det först i vanligt sötvatten, det kanske hjälper. Jag skulle nog inte våga använda det aktiva kolet som finns filtret, kolet är kanske inte avsett för saltvatten och kan innehålla fosfat som du inte vill ha ut i ditt kar.
