Kalkrektor Dual chamber calcium reactor (teoridiskussion)

Jag försöker förstå teorin bakom att ha en andra seriekopplad reaktor på sin kalciumreaktor som man ser att en del tillverkare har... Ofta kallad "Dual chamber calcium reactor", dvs utloppet går igenom en andra reaktor med ytterligare media utan intern cirkulation innan vattnet når akvariet.

Klarar en reaktor med 1 kammare inte av att mätta vattnet med kalcium? Om reaktorn var ideal så skulle vattnet vara mättat med kalcium redan efter den första reaktorkammaren och då vore det ingen mening med att köra vattnet genom ytterligare media.

Om vi antar att vattnet ut från den första reaktorn inte är helt mättat vad är det som händer i den andra rektorn som inte sker i den första och varför?

Någon som kan förklara eller förtydliga?

Calcium reactor: This is the biggest piece of equipment for the whole setup. First you need to decide on a single or dual chamber design. The idea of a dual chamber is that the second chamber helps to use up some of the extra CO2 before it enters the tank. People with dual chamber reactors typically see a .2 difference in pH from the exit of the first chamber to the exit of the second. Dual chambers typically hold more media as well. Great results can be had with both designs. The choice is yours.

1) Although a second stage can increase the pH of the effluent within limits, it has a fairly inconsequential affect on the pH of the tank as a whole and

2) Although the second stage does increase the alk/calcium levels of the effluent, this is probably only relevant in the situation where the reactor is marginal in meeting the demands of the tank.
