Guest Postat 3 augusti 2020 Postat 3 augusti 2020 Hi After 3 years break I am back again with newest monster tank from Red Sea, a Reefer 3XL 900. When I knew I am going to do this, I also made plan for solar panels on the roof to support the electricity consumption It took 3 months for tank to get here in Stockholm and now it sits in my carport until I find 5-6 strong men to help me bring it inside. Thx!  /Johan HiYes its always good to quarantine...Once I lost a lot to Ich so now I will quarantine everything. What I do is first I put them in one of my 3 quarantine tanks and feed them for couple of days until they are happy in new tank...then I start with copper slowly until reaching therapeutic level...leave them in copper for 30 days then 100% water change and deworm with API General Cure for two weeks...After all of these I put a black molly I converted to saltwater in the tank with them and see if it get sick or not...because they are black and their immune system doesn't know any saltwater disease you can spot it easily...so if the black molly is healthy after a week you are good to go.For corals I plan to do a 76 days fishless quarantine.
